Calendering and Slitting Machine

Product Overview

The machine integrates the electrode calendering and slitting processes. It uses rollers to continuously compact the coated electrodes and then slits them into multiple narrow strips to meet the specifications of different cell dimensions.

Features

Automatic roll change and splicing, and automatic centering for unwinding.

Closed-loop thickness control. Thickness accuracy of the calendered electrode reaches ±1μm.

The non-metallic scraper reduces the damage to the roller surface.

An optimized roller disassembly design reduces replacement time to 12 hours or less.

Roller cleaning by non-woven fabric dipped in silicone oil. Cleaning speed reaches 120m/min.

Dual-level slitter holder simultaneously slits the coated and the uncoated area, with a width accuracy of ±0.3mm.

CCD closed-loop slitting adjustment, with an accuracy of ±0.3mm.

Standard Configuration

Unwinding unit: Dual-shaft automatic roll change and splicing, pneumatic V-block, automatic A/B shaft centering, and end material detection;

Front flattening unit: Main drive rollers, tension isolation, tension detection;

Calendering unit: Roller unit, bending cylinder correction component, hydraulic component, and roller gap control component;

Rewinding unit: Dual-shaft automatic roll change and splicing, pneumatic V-block, and auxiliary rewinding press roller.

Optional Configuration

Servo-controlled cylinder: positioning repeatability at ±1μm. Switchable position or pressure control and real-time calendering force monitoring;
